This workshop is designed for those who have experienced the Stock Market Game but want an opportunity to increase resources to share in the classroom. Discover new ways to integrate math, language arts, technology, social studies and critical thinking skills all with relevant and current topics. You will find the SMG a great project based tool with great connections to state standards and the Danielson Framework!
There will be several presentations from Stock Market Game Sponsors, including a financial advisor and a representative from the Arkansas Securities Department .
Bring your own device or use one of ours as you experience the Stock Market Game online from a teacher and student perspective. Activities and resources will be provided.
Participants will receive a letter of five and one-half inservice hours, including three hours of technology.
Training, curriculum, breaks and lunch will be provided at no charge.
Substitute reimbursement of up to $75 will be provided as necessary.
Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. with the workshop beginning promptly at 9:00 a.m.
