Educator's Innovation Lab
The impetus behind the Innovation Lab is to give teachers a platform to identify and analyze real-world problems and collaborate with their colleagues to conceptualize tangible solutions.
HOW?
The Innovation Lab guides teachers through an intensive workshop in which they learn the fundamentals of how to identify entrepreneurship processes to solve problems faced in education. Teachers will work in teams to solve those problems, build their social networks with other teachers and formulate and present final presentations.
Where?
UCA Downtown | 1105 West Oak St. Conway, AR
The Problem
It is integral to the teachers’ adoption of the workshop that they have a vested interest in the problem they are trying to solve as they work in teams to find a solution. The workshop will encourage teachers to think critically about the problems they face in education: who are the key stakeholders involved? Do other people identify with this problem? How can you test the market to validate this problem?
