Welcome to the Arkansas Economics Challenge! We are very excited to offer this great competition once again! The Arkansas Economics Challenge is an opportunity for students to demonstrate their Economic Knowledge by competing with other students across the state.
The purpose of the Arkansas Economics Challenge is to honor teachers and students in grades 9-12 who have demonstrated excellence in Economics. The intent is to encourage high standards for achievement and to provide support and encouragement to school systems, teachers and students for their accomplishments.
The competition will be for teacher-sponsored teams of four students. Teachers may enter any number of teams per school in the free, online competition.

- Teachers will be registered to win a $150 gift card for every registered team that completes the Online Qualifying Round.
- Students participate in the online competition.
- The top 5 teams from the David Ricardo Division and the top 5 teams from the Adam Smith Division in each of the six Center Areas will advance to the University Economic Education Center Area Round. Click here for a map of the University Economic Education Center Areas.
- The top team in each division of the six Center Areas will advance to the State Finals.
