Welcome to the Online Assessment Resource
for Teachers of Arkansas’ High School Economics Course!

This site will offer teachers various online assessments that contain questions correlated to the Economics Frameworks adopted by the Arkansas Department of Education.  These assessments will include the following:

• Economics Pre-test (available January 2012)
• Economics Post-test (available April 2012)
• 20 Session Tests based on the High School Standards and Activity Based Economics notebook developed by Economics Arkansas in 2010. (available as developed during the 2011-12 school year)

The Pre and Post tests have been developed to be appropriate for all teachers of the High School Economics course, whether or not they have attended Economics Arkansas’ training or are using the High School Standards and Activity Based Economics Notebook.

The 20 Session Tests are specifically based on the Notebook; therefore, are most beneficial to teachers who have attended Economics Arkansas’ training and who are using the Notebook.

Economics Arkansas and UALR College of Business’ Kenneth Pat Wilson Center for Economic Education have partnered to create this valuable online testing resource for teachers. 

Note:  Economics Arkansas will use the data collected to determine future training locations and help measure the effectiveness of the training and the Notebook we developed. Data may be used as support material in approaching potential donors to help underwrite future training opportunities and the further development of the testing resource site.
