Economics Arkansas announces an immediate opening for the position of Executive Director. Economics Arkansas is a statewide non-profit organization with a vision for Arkansas students to master an understanding of economics and personal finance and apply that knowledge for success in the free-enterprise system. This is accomplished through providing professional development training and programs to PreK-12 grade educators.
We are seeking a person with successful fundraising and marketing track records, a passion for economic/personal finance education as key to economic development, executive leadership skills, and experience with board and volunteer management. Applicant must submit to a criminal background check, submit to drug testing as allowed under applicable law and be available to travel frequently.
Responsibilities include marketing, fundraising, board and donor relations, strategic plan facilitation and execution, program and operations management and supporting the Economics Arkansas Foundation.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience; five years in related field with successful track record; experience with nonprofit finances/financial statements a plus; excellent communication and organization skills; proficiency with use of technology including social media, and experience building mission-oriented partnerships.
Compensation: Annual salary of $100,000+ - to be determined based upon experience and qualifications - and benefits.
