Morris Is Going to School...And So Are We!

Monday, August 8, 2022
10:00 am11:00 am

School is just around the corner, and it's the perfect time to teach the concept of human capital. "Human capital" refers to the skills, education and talent that people possess. People invest in their human capital through education, on-the-job training, and practice. Throughout their school careers, students make investments in their human capital. Introducing this concept to younger students can help them understand why school is valuable, and allows us to build on their initial understanding of human capital in later years.

This session will spotlight great ways to help students understand the concept of human capital.

Upon successful completion, participants will receive:
1 hour of professional development credit
a children's book selection

Target audience: K-12 educators
