Volunteer Opportunities

Thank you for your interest in helping Arkansas students understand how our economy works, develop economic thinking skills and become savvy users of money. Here are some opportunities for you to support our mission with your time, professional expertise and services, and in-kind donations:

Classroom presentations to Arkansas students K-12: Teachers and students alike love in-classroom visits from professionals such as bankers to discuss what’s it like in the real world. Feel free to download and present this PowerPoint Presentation, “The 10 Top Questions a Banker is Asked," designed for presentations to students K-5. Other professionals in high demand are field and human resources managers of plants and factories.

Professional services and in kind donations: For our year-round teacher trainings, seminars and conferences, we welcome graphic design, printing and silk screening services, as well as paper and school supplies, promotional items and door prizes.

Fundraising events: We host fundraising events, such as community luncheons, throughout the year and are grateful for assistance with event planning and onsite help.

Speakers/Emcees: Do you have the gift of gab? Or are you a great host? If you can speak with authority and wit about the economy, entrepreneurship, education or financial literacy (just to suggest a few relevant topics) or if you have a knack for entertaining, please consider delivering the keynote address or serving as emcee during one of the several awards presentations, community fundraising luncheons and special events we host throughout the year.

Internships: Occasionally, we offer internship opportunities to qualified college students.

For more information, please contact our office at 501-682-4230 or email acee@economicsarkansas.org. Thank you.
