Description:

Students explore entrepreneurship by investigating successful businesses and discovering how entrepreneurs turn problems and consumer wants into opportunities. Through literature, discussion and hands-on activities, students consider how ideas become products or services and practice making decisions about choices, trade-offs and the challenges of starting and growing a business. Along the way, students develop the entrepreneurial thinking that could inspire their own business idea and participation in Economics Arkansas’s Y.E.S. for Arkansas competition, sponsored by ACC Capital.
