Teacher Innovation Grants and Classroom Kits

Economics Arkansas helps educators bring economics and personal finance to life with funding and classroom-ready resources. Certified Arkansas PreK–12 teachers can apply for an Innovation Grant, request an Economic Education Kit, or apply for both. Explore the options below to find the opportunity that best fits your classroom.

Can I Apply for Both a Grant and a Kit?

Yes! Teachers may apply for both an Innovation Grant and an Economic Education Kit, but may receive no more than one of each per school year. Applying does not guarantee an award. If your grant is not approved during the fall cycle, you may reapply with the same or a different project in the spring.

Before Your Apply

  • You must be a certified Arkansas K-12 teacher under contract for the 2026-27 school year.
  • You must be registered in EA Connect. If you are not, please register here.

FAQ

  • What happens to grant or kit-funded materials if I leave my school? Grant-funded non-consumable materials and Economic Education Kit materials remain with the school for which they were awarded.
  • Does submitting a kit request guarantee that I will receive one? No. Kit requests are reviewed based on several factors, including grade level, subject area, student impact, geographic distribution and school need. EA Affiliate Partner Schools & Districts receive priority consideration.
