Economics Arkansas Welcomes Allison Kleypas as Development and Communications Specialist


LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas (September 17, 2025)Economics Arkansas is pleased to announce the appointment of Allison Kleypas as its Development and Communications Specialist. Kleypas began her role earlier this month, bringing strong nonprofit communications and development experience to the organization.

In this role, Kleypas manages communications across multiple platforms, including social media, newsletters, website content and design projects. She also contributes to fundraising initiatives through grant writing and donor engagement.

“Allison has a proven ability to tell stories that connect people to a cause,” said Kathleen Lawson, executive director of Economics Arkansas. “Her fresh perspective and experience in nonprofit communications will be tremendous assets as we continue building relationships and broadening awareness of our work across the state. We are excited to welcome her to the team and look forward to the energy and creativity she brings to our mission.”

Kleypas previously served as communications officer at CareLink in North Little Rock, where she directed content strategy, managed campaigns across digital and print platforms and spearheaded community storytelling initiatives to support fundraising and awareness. Her previous roles at CareLink included development officer and care coordinator, providing her with a broad background in donor relations, data management and client services.

A graduate of Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Kleypas holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with minors in Communication Studies and Art. She has also served as communications chair-elect for the AFP Central Arkansas Chapter’s National Philanthropy Day, helping design statewide marketing and social media campaigns.
