Get Smart: The Basics of Savings and Investing

Registration fee: $25.00 (Fee is refundable to teachers from Economics Arkansas partner school systems upon successful completion of the workshop or if cancellation is received two weeks prior to the day of the workshop.)

Benjamin Franklin once said, “An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.” This one day summit will focus on the issues of saving and investing. Topics include understanding financial markets, making sound financial and investment decisions, selecting among various saving and investing options, recognizing and victim-proofing yourself against investment fraud and knowing how regulators help protect investors. The day will include a plenary session with a keynote speaker and breakout sessions.

This professional development offering is available to educators K-16.
