2024 Day of Giving

The Arkansas Council for Economic Education, now known as Economics Arkansas, was established on April 30, 1962.

We were founded by Dr. Arch Ford, the then Arkansas Commissioner of Education, to promote economic literacy in Arkansas.

Economics Arkansas celebrates sixty-two years of education for real life on April 30, 2024.

First Horizon Bank generously provided a $10,000 match gift to support program operations. This means every dollar contributed doubled, effectively doubling the impact of each donor's generosity.

Whether it's understanding the principles of supply and demand, grasping the importance of financial responsibility, or recognizing the role of entrepreneurship in driving innovation, your contribution helps lay the foundation for a brighter economic future for Arkansas youth.

THANK YOU to everyone who contributed to our fourth annual Day of Giving. We hope to continue providing economic and personal finance training and resources for another sixty years!
